Bradley Ray and Kyle Ryde remain with the Rich OMG squad for next year’s Bennetts British Superbike series but will switch to Yamaha power.
With full support from the official Yamaha British Superbike Team, McAMS Yamaha run by Raceways Motorcycles, it is an exciting step for the Cannock-based team who have moved away from BMW.
“The Rich Energy OMG Racing team are delighted at the opportunity to work with Yamaha for 2022. With the invaluable support of Steve Rodgers and McAMS Yamaha, the agreement for the team to run fully supported Yamaha R1 motorcycles sees a bright future for the whole team,” said team principal Paul Curran.
“After the decision to move to Yamaha was taken, retaining Brad, Kyle, and Billy, was key to our 2022 challenge. We firmly believe that they will benefit from the proven race-winning pedigree of the Yamaha R1. We’re excited to see both the bikes and riders on track at the earliest opportunity.
“Thank you to Yamaha Motor UK and Steve Rodgers of Raceways Motorcycles for their support in making it all happen. We’re looking forward to an exciting future in partnership with them both.”
Fan favourite Billy McConnell will also remain with the team for 2022 after yet another successful Pirelli National Superstock season with multiple podiums in the hotly-contested class.
