A rowing marathon to raise money for the CJ Rider's Fund and the Royal Navy and Marines Children's Fund is taking place over the Silverstone BSB weekend and if you can row the furthest in five minutes, you will win a place on the grid for race two, a lap of the track and a ticket for the final round.
Organised by Royal Marine Clr Sgt Tony Creaney, the challenge starts on Thursday when riders, team members and officials will take part then on Saturday and Sunday it will be thrown open to the public to have a go.
Situated at the CJ Rider's Fund stand, all you have to do is donate a fiver to have a go. Among other prizes are a ticket to the Fund's annual dinner and a signed Airwaves Yamaha shirt.
KTM UK have announced they are to donate £850 in prize money to the CJ Rider's Fund. The company have kept the money won by guest riders in the Focused Events RC8 series.
