Former British Superbike and Grand Prix star Sean Emmett has been released on police bail to return in March following his arrest at Heathrow yesterday.

Emmett was arrested at Heathrow by Surrey Police yesterday morning in connection with the death of his wife Abbie in a balcony fall back in February but cleared of all suspicion.

He had been stranded in Dubai for nine months after authorities there confiscated his passport and was taken in custody as soon as he cleared customs in the UK.
