Northern Ireland's Alastair Seeley will join Ben Wilson in the Gearlink Kawasaki British Supersport team for 2013 after penning a year deal.
The former British Superbike star, who split with Tyco Suzuki two weeks ago, goes back to the middleweight class in which he was champion two years ago, beating the very man he will partner by the narrowest of margins.
"I'm really pleased to have come to an arrangement and signed a deal with Gearlink Kawasaki. I'm back on a Supersport bike which is where I am happiest and really hope the results will start coming back again," said Seeley.
"It's been a tough year in the Superbike class and I'm really eager to get a good result next season. I had a brief test at Mallory last week but it was wet and very cold and I didn't want to do anything stupid but was happy to get a deal sorted with Michael.
"I am eager to get back in the Supersport class and I believe Gearlink Kawasaki will help me achieve where I want to be. I think Ben and I will spur each other on to want to do well and get good results next year.
"I have also linked it in with the Northwest 200 which is a really important race on my race calendar and I'll be racing with Gearlink and MSS Kawasaki there which will be great. I'd like to thank Michael and Norma for this opportunity and looking forward to 2013 and getting started."
