Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki's Shane Byrne didn't turn a wheel in this morning's MCE Brish Superbike warm-up session as his bike was completely stripped down with a mechanical problem.

It is not known what the fault with Byrne's bike is but his team have until around half-past twelve when pitlane will open for the first Superbike race of the day.

Poleman Alex Lowes led the session with veteran Chris Walker second, Tommy Bridewell third, Barry Burrell fourth and championship leader Josh Brookes fifth.
