Joe Francis has split with the PR Racing Bennetts British Superbike squad as he endeavours to progress'his career.

Francis hasn't had the easiest of seasons with incidents not of his doing added to breakdowns which have conspired against the Chester rider.

"Myself and PR Racing have decided to part company. It has been a very challenging and frustrating season so far, so I have had to make the tough decision to part ways as I need to progress with my career. I wish them all the best for the future," said Francis.

"I’m now working on plans for the remainder of the season and next season. Thank you to all my personal sponsors and supporters for everything over the past few seasons."
