Silverstone BSB: Mackenzie in doubt after race one crash

McAMS Yamaha were on form for another Bennetts British Superbike one-two at Silverstone on Saturday afternoon until disaster struck on the penultimate lap.

While sitting first and second in the opening race of the National Circuit weekend, the title challengers Jason O’Halloran and Tarran Mackenzie were involved in a collision with two laps to go.

After assessment by the BSB medical team. O’Halloran was released with no injuries, albeit battered and bruised, and intends to ride in tomorrow’s races pending a medical check ahead of Sunday’s morning warm-up.
