Former British 250GP Champion Scott Smart took the wraps off his new Moto Rapido National Superstock bike at the MCN Excel Show yesterday, despite being slightly late.
Smart, who was delayed by fog for four hours and who still isn't married, will contest the Metzeler-back Superstock series which runs alongside the British Superbike Championship.
"It's a good feeling to be back on a works Ducati again, something I haven't ridden in a British series since I was on the Old Spice Ducati bike at Knockhill years ago," said Smart.
"Having the support of Ducati UK and Ducati Corse is pretty special, and I suppose it continues the family tradition of involvement with the Italian factory."
Smart's father Paul is a Ducati legend, having won the Imola 200 against all the odds in 1972.
