SNETTERTON BSB: BYRNE WORRIED ABOUT SPEED ISSUES

British Superbike championship leader Shane Byrne is expecting a more difficult time at Snetterton as he tries to add to his win tally this weekend.

Byrne, who is coming oFf the back of a double win at Donington under difficult conditions, will not only have to contend with a heavier bike under the new rules but also a top speed deficit along the Norfolk track's main straight.

"I think Snetterton will be more difficult than the races we have had so far this season," he said. "I am confident the Airwaves Ducati team will provide me with the best possible package and I know that I will do the best I possibly can so we will have to wait and see what happens."

Team-mate Leon Camier is in agreement, saying the bikes may lack the required top-end. "I reckon we are going to find it quite tough this weekend; I think we may lack the speed needed for a circuit like Snetterton but I am still looking forward to getting there and giving it a good go," he said.
