SNETTERTON BSB: CAMIER TARGETS BROOKES AS THREAT

Airwaves Yamaha's Leon Camier has said he thinks team-mate James Ellison and HM Plant Honda's Josh Brookes are the main threat for race wins at Snetterton's British Superbike round this weekend.

The lanky Kent youngster, who is the runaway championship leader, is a good friend of Brookes and now the Australian is fully bedded-in on the Fireblade, Camier is wary of his pace.

"I'm looking forward to getting back on a race bike as Thruxton seems like a long time ago. I won my first British Superbike race at Snetterton so I've got some great memories of the circuit," said Camier.

"It would be fantastic if we could get on the top step of the podium again, but I think we're going to be in for some tough competition. The Honda's are looking fast, in particular Josh Brookes who finished on the podium last time out.

"My team-mate James is also riding really well so it should be an exciting weekend. Snetterton is one of the fastest circuits on the calendar but with the new engine the Airwaves Yamaha should perform well."
