NW200 Yamaha's Dan Linfoot has been admitted to Norwich Hospital with a badly broken foot following a massive highside coming out of Sear corner at Snetterton this morning.

The British Supersport title contenderwas comfortably sitting in provisional pole position during the first qualifying session when his YZF-R6 pinged him out of the seat and he landed heavily, breaking mulitple metatarsals in his foot.

"That really has made a mess of my year we were flying and I felt great on the bike, I just wanted to squeeze one last fast lap as I knew there was a good chance of rain later today, pretty miserable for me and my team and I'll work hard to get back as soon as I can," said Linfoot.
