Buildbase BMW's James Westmoreland says there is more pace to come from his BMW S1000RR during this weekend's MCE British Superbike weekend at Snetterton despite setting the fifth fastest time in second free practice this afternoon.
The Yorkshireman has continued to fine-tune his setup and had some useful testing at Cadwell, Mallory and at the Norfolk circuit recently but says his speed in now coming purely from seat time.
"I did four laps in the 1'49s this afternoon, which was as many as the guys at the top and I think there is more to come over the next day or so. We have done some testing but I think it is just time spent on the bike which is helping," said Westmoreland, speaking to bikesportnews.com this afternoon.
