SNETTERTON BSB: SCHOOLBOY ERROR COSTS HARRIS

Yamaha's Karl Harris had admitted that a schoolboy error cost him the chance of a podium place at Snetterton this weekend but has vowed to fight back at Mallory Park in two week's time.
Harris, who made a wrong tyre choice in the first race which saw him slip to eighth, got away well with the leaders in the second wet race. He had made a move for second on lap one going into the Esses but a mixture of cold tyres and too much right hand saw Harris hit the floor, right in front of Shane Byrne.
Harris said: "I’m gutted to be honest, I missed out on a better finish in race one and we knew the reasons why. The rain ahead of race two changed our plans but everyone is in the same position. I got a blinding start and was running in second when the bike just let go mid -orner and I was down on the floor. It was a bit of a schoolboy error if I’m honest, the tyre was cold and I paid the price.“
