The official British Superbike tests at Snetterton are currently being lashed by awful weather, with the second Superbike session being abandoned due to hail. Info below is chronological.
Superbikes
Only James Ellison and Shane Byrne braved the conditions, with Shakey putting in a 1’25.1 lap on his third of three. Ellison did an out-lap and an in-lap, with the rest of the superbike teams thinking better of it in session two..
James Ellison, who must just be trying to get used to riding in the wet again, posted a 1’23 .7 lap in the third superbike session. Superbike cup runner James Buckingham also went out and did a 1’31.2. Guy Martin was out but didn’t record a time.
125GP
Meanwhile, Stuart Elwood, Ross Walker, Michael Wilcox and Nicole McAleer (go on girl) are the top four in 125s.
Nicole McAleer has gone second fastest in the third 125GP session with a 1’28.769, two seconds behind Stuart Elwood.
Superstock 600 and KTM
The Superstock 600 and KTM Superdukes were also out together, James Dye and Josh Caygill putting in the quickest times on their 600s.
Olie Lindsell was fastest in the third superstock 600 session with a 1’23.2.
Supersport and Superstock
Steven Neate is quickest in the second supersport and superstock session with Graham English and Alistair Fagan second and third.
Kieran Blair is fastest in the third session with a 1’17.812 with Fagan a second off his pace.
