After winning the 2024 British Supersport Championship, Jack Kennedy can decide where to race in 2025.
Jack Kennedy has re-signed with Honda Racing UK for 2025. However, it is undecided which Championship the Irish rider will compete in.
Kennedy signed with Honda Racing UK in 2024 and won the British Supersport Championship on the CBR600RR. After winning the title by 62 points Kennedy is now in a rare position for a motorbike racer.
The five-time British Supersport Champion has the option to race in British Superbikes or British Supersport in 2025.
Honda Racing UK and Jack Kennedy will take part in a private test with both the Supersport and Superbike machinery. After the test, the 36-year-old can make an 'informed decision' over which Championship he will compete in.
"I feel in a unique position following the fantastic year that we have had," Kennedy said. "I have the opportunity to carry out a private test before making an informed decision on what I want to do next year. It’s not often you get the chance to test ride the bike before you commit to racing it the following season!
"The team is making this possible and we worked so well together this year so thank you to them. Remaining as a Honda Racing UK rider was the priority and I am excited to test before making my final decision on the 2025 season ahead."
Honda Racing UK has also revealed their 2025 British Superbike and 2025 Road Racing lineup.
