Charlie Nesbitt will start from the front row at Cadwell Park after Qualifying in third place.
Charlie Nesbitt had the best Qualifying session of his career as he put his MasterMac Honda in third place on the grid.
Qualifying has not been Nesbitt's strong point throughout the 2024 season. However, a front-row start at Cadwell Park left the Wiltshire rider buzzing before the opening BSB race of the weekend.
Nesbitt managed to cling on to the back of his teammate, Lee Jackson for his fast lap. Jackson is the 'home hero' at Cadwell so was the perfect marker for Nesbitt to follow for his fastest lap.
So far in 2024 Nesbitt's best result has been fifth place at Thruxton and Knockhill. Nesbitt has not featured on a BSB podium since Thruxton last season. But a front row at Cadwell is the perfect place to try and challenge for a podium.
"That Qualifying session was mega to be fair," Nesbitt said after Qualifying. "It was probably the best one of my career. To be fair I have no idea where it came from!
"It was one of those laps where everything just came through quite nicely and just all tied together really nicely.
"In all fairness, Lee (Jackson) gave me a massive tow, to be honest, who else is better to follow around here than Lee, he is the home hero. He knows the best way around this circuit, but yeah I am really happy."
