Tyco Suzuki rider Josh Brookes will be hoping that he can improve suspension settings improve for qualifying today. The Aussie racer had a solid free practice session yesterday, but could not manage to retain a top three position on the time sheets.
"The weather meant one session was wet and one was dry, but I felt better in the dry than in the wet conditions. I have a new suspension on this year with Ohlins, which means I have to run through the set up all over again, and we can't really use the settings from last year, as they don't really compare. So it means a little bit more work than normal, and hopefully once that has all sorted itself out, we should be fine," said the Aussie rider, speaking to bikesportnews.com at the track
"It is down to suspension settings, the bike is running quite well it is just the grip and steering that is not just right yet, so if we do improve on that then the lap times will improve for sure. I have been a lot quicker here before so I know the bike has more to be improved on, so we will carry on doing that."
