After missing two rounds earlier this season Ryan Vickers is back in the British Superbike Championship hunt.

Despite being fifth in the British Superbike Championship Ryan Vickers is currently the rider to beat. The OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing rider wants to continue on his form from Brands Hatch and Thruxton at Cadwell Park.

In the past six races, Vickers has won five of them. With only one more round before the Showdown begins Vickers is looking to move further up the standings.

Ahead of the 'Party in the Park' Vickers said: “I am extremely excited for Cadwell Park as it is probably my favourite circuit for many different reasons, the fans are always amazing there and it’s always a great atmosphere. The circuit is so unique and it is the one time of the year I actually get to jump my Superbike! I think with my motocross background I find that quite enjoyable and I look forward to it every lap.

“It’s nice that I am fast at Cadwell as well and I have always had great results there, ever since my Kawasaki days with Lee Hardy I have shown some great potential there. I did the first ever 1m:25s lap and got pole position last year, podium in the first race. I did unfortunately crash out of the second race from the lead, but we were extremely strong and it was just one of those things.

“This year we have found a lot with the bike, I have improved a lot and I really can’t wait for this weekend and try the bike that we have developed this year. I am sure we are going to have a really strong weekend. I hope to see everyone there and hopefully we will be fighting for all three victories.”
