Vickers is "riding well in the wet and dry" at Cadwell Park

After two days of riding around Cadwell Park, it was Ryan Vickers who led the way on both days. In the test on Friday evening Vickers was half a second quicker than the rest of the field in the dry.

However, the dry conditions ended on Saturday as the rain began to fall. But despite his lack of wet racing this year Vickers still went fastest in mixed conditions leading the last Practice session of the day.

Vickers has established himself as a Championship challenger across the last two rounds and another strong weekend will put him in the hunt to dethrone Tommy Bridewell.

After the sessions ended on Saturday Vickers said: "Cadwell is always one of my favourites, it is always a difficult one in the wet because there is a lot of risk. Looking at the weekend it looks pretty dry for the rest of the weekend, so we did not want to push too much.

"We used the sessions to develop our wet bike quite a bit more, we haven't done too much this year. It was nice to get out there and try to find a better setup, which we did. Also, we have still got a lot more to come. Not necessarily to go a huge amount faster, but to make it more consistent.

"Working well with the team, Day One P1, by 0.6 of a second in the end. In the test yesterday in the dry we were half a second faster. Really happy with how it is going so far, riding well in the wet and dry, let's see what the weather does for the rest of the weekend!"
