In the end, it was total domination by Josh Brookes as he took his first MCE British Superbike title, but there were some notable performances during the season too. The return of Hopper and his first podium for Moto Rapido Ducati, Dan Linfoot and James Ellison coming back from injury to make the Showdown and still challenge for the title respectively, rookie Luke Mossey grabbing the Riders’ Cup laurels and Christian Iddon wringing the neck of the ageing GSX-R.
