Australian Superbike Champion Josh Waters reckons he is pleased he will be able to finish the 2013 MCE British Superbike season after signing a deal with ride with the Halsall Kawasaki team at Silverstone and Brands Hatch.
Waters has effectively swapped seats with Tommy Bridewell, who replaced him at Assen in the Milwaukee setup, and says he has not given up on England yet.
"It has been a lot harder than I thought it was but I'm pleased to be able to race at Silverstone and Brands Hatch, two circuits I have knowledge of and I'm grateful to have been given this opportunity," said Waters, speaking to bikesportnews.com this afternoon.
"I haven't raced a Kawasaki before, but I hadn't raced a BMW before I went to Le Mans. I thought it was better to do that than sit at home watching Assen on the telly. I haven't given up on England and I am looking forward to this weekend."
