Lap times from the FP1 session at the 2026 Moto2 Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez, round four of 2026.
Barry Baltus topped the FP1 times for Moto2 in Jerez in what was a tight session towards the top.
The top-10 were all within half-a-second of Baltus, the last of those - David Alonso - having missed the last 15 minutes after crashing at the final corner. It wasn't a huge crash for the Colombian, but his bike dug in in the gravel and tumbled fairly heavily, ripping the fuel tank off the bike.
The top 22 riders ended within a second of Baltus, emphasising the closeness of the field this weekend in Jerez. Baltus' own gap at the top was only 0.030 seconds over Celestino Vietti, who was the only Boscoscuro rider in the top-10.
