Results from the race at the 2026 Moto2 US Grand Prix in Texas.
The first Moto2 start in Texas was halted after the first lap after a multiple rider crash at turn 11. Sergio Garcia, Angel Piqueras, and Alberto Ferrandez were unable to make the restart. At the first corner of the first start, championship leader Dani Holgado made contact with Joe Roberts and crashed. He was able to take the restart but had a long lap penalty and finished 17th.
Barry Baltus also had a long lap penalty to serve on the restart, which dropped him to the lead to out of podium contention. He finished sixth.
When Baltus took his penalty, Senna Agius took the lead. He was challenged in the second part of the race by Celestino Vietti, but the Australian had superior corner speed and was able to use that to counter Vietti's superior braking performance.
Vietti finished second, and Izan Guevara took third place.
David Alonso came from 17th on the grid to finish fourth in the shortened 10-lap race, beating Manuel Gonzalez who took fifth.
Behind Baltus, Alonso Lopez, Alex Escrig, Joe Roberts, and Tony Arbolino completed the top-10.
