Lap times from the qualifying session at the 2026 Moto3 Thai Grand Prix at the Buriram International Circuit.
David Almansa took pole position on his debut for the Intact GP team in Buriram, beating Alvaro Carpe by over 0.4 seconds and taking the lap record by over 0.3 seconds. Behind Carpe, Adrian Fernandez broke the KTM stranglehold on the front row by putting his Leopard Honda third.
Max Quiles was fourth, ahead of Veda Pratama in an impressive fifth on his full-time debut, and David Munoz who came through Q1 to get to the back of the second row.
Ryusei Yamanaka was seventh-fastest, beating Scott Ogden and Guido Pini who will join him on the third row; while Casey O'Gorman completed the qualifying top-10 to be joined by fellow rookies Marco Morelli and Brian Uriarte on the fourth row.

David Almansa topped the final session before qualifying in Thailand, lapping faster than he managed in Practice yesterday. Like yesterday, he was the only rider in the 1:40s, Adrian Fernandez setting a 1:41.202 to go second. Max Quiles rounded out the top-three.
David Munoz was fourth-fastest ahead of Alvaro Carpe and Valentin Perrone in the top-six; then Guido Pini, Ryusei Yamanaka, Jesus Rios, and Joel Esteban completed the top-10.
