Final results from the Sprint at the 2026 MotoGP Catalan Grand Prix from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Alex Marquez won the Catalan MotoGP Spritn, beating Pedro Acosta. The Gresini rider took the lead mid-race from Acosta, but the KTM star fought back at the end, coming close to regaining the lead at several points on the final lap, just coming up short at the end by 0.041 seconds.

Fabio Di Giannantonio wasn't much further back in third place having gotten the better of Raul Fernandez, whose defence of multiple positions ultimately cost him more time than they were worth, and he finished fourth.

Johann Zarco completed the top-five ahead of Francesco Bagnaia, Franco Morbidelli, Ai Ogura, and Marco Bezzecchi who finished ninth.

Bezzecchi had been 10th at the start of the final lap, having been passed by Ogura, but when Ogura passed Bastianini the Tech3 rider ran wide at turn seven and Bezzecchi was able to salvage a solitary point.

Qualifying

Pedro Acosta took pole position at the Catalan MotoGP, beating Franco Morbidelli who had come through Q1. Alex Marquez completed the top-three.

Raul Fernandez was the leading Aprilia in fourth; Jorge Martin only managing ninth, Marco Bezzecchi qualifying 12th after a crash at turn two on his final run of Q2, and Ai Ogura not making it out of Q1.

Johann Zarco and Fabio Di Giannantonio completed the top-six behind Fernandez, while Fabio Quartararo and Brad Binder will join Martin on the third row for this weekend's races.

Bezzecchi, meanwhile, will start alongside Joan Mir and Jack Miller on the fourth row.
