Results from the race at the 2026 MotoGP Dutch Grand Prix at the TT Circuit Assen.

Ai Ogura took the race win, the first of his MotoGP career, in the race at Assen, winning by two seconds.

Ogura started well, but dropped to sixth while battling with Raul Fernandez for second early on. Jorge Martin was leading at that stage and open a 1.5-second lead as a result, but Fernandez quickly recovered that gap.

Ogura was soon able to get back into the top-three, passing Marc Marquez to do so, and then set on after the leaders.

As Ogura got close, he initially struck disaster as his ride height device got stuck down entering turn three just as he arrived on Fernandez's rear wheel, but he was able to get it unlocked and took only one lap to recover the second he lost to the front.

Just as he got there, Fernandez made his move, passing Martin for the lead at the final chicane on lap 17. This in turn allowed Ogura to line up Martin into turn one.

By lap 20, Ogura was pressuring Fernandez heavily, and he passed going into turn nine. Fernandez seemed slightly surprised and ran a little wide himself, allowing Ogura to immediately open a gap. His pace then proved superior and it was a comfortable end to the race for the Japanese rider.

Fernandez held off Martin for second, but it's Martin who takes the championship lead to Sachsenring by seven points over Marco Bezzecchi after the Italian fell at turn 15 on the second lap.

Fabio Di Giannantonio started poorly, but improved through the race and got to fourth in the end. He then had to take a ride through penalty because he cut the track when he passed Marc Marquez, but after taking the penalty he recovered back to fourth again.

Alex Marquez took fifth, passing his brother, Marc, when he went wide with Di Giannantonio. He was helped by Di Giannantonio's move to re-pass Marc after his penalty because the reigning champion was held up in the middle of the chicane as a result and lost half-a-second or so as a result.

Francesco Bagnaia and Pedro Acosta had also been involved in that battle, but Bagnaia retired with brake issues and Pedro Acosta had a problem with his right arm.

Marc Marquez took sixth behind Alex, while Enea Bastianini, Fabio Quartararo, Brad Binder, and Alex Rins completed the top-10.

Marco Bezzecchi topped Warm Up at Mugello as only he and Ai Ogura lapped in the 1:31s. Francesco Bagnaia completed the top-three ahead of Pedro Acosta, Alex Marquez, and Marc Marquez who completed the top-six.
