Lap times from the MotoGP Practice session at the French Grand Prix, the fifth round of the 2026 season.
Johann Zarco went fastest in Practice at the French Grand Prix, he and Fabio Di Giannantonio the only riders to lap in the 1:29s on Friday at Le Mans.
Francesco Bagnaia was third on an equal time with Alex Marquez. Ai Ogura and Pedro Acosta were around a-tenth-and-a-half slower than Bagnaia and Marquez and also on equal times, getting into the top-10 in ninth and 10th, respectively.
Joan Mir was a second Honda rider in the top-five, ahead of the two factory Aprilias of Jorge Martin in sixth and seventh-fastest Marco Bezzecchi. Alex Rins was a surprise entry to the top-10, the Spaniard ensuring that all five manufacturers are represented in Q2 tomorrow.

FP1
Luca Marini was fastest in FP1 at Le Mans, the Italian using fresh tyres at the end of the session to be the only rider to dip into the 1:30s. Pedro Acosta was second and Johann Zarco put a second Honda in the top-three.
Fabio Di Giannantonio was the best Ducati rider in fourth and led much of the session before the fresh tyres went in at the end for some riders.
Raul Fernandez completed the top-five and Alex Rins the top-six, the latter being the only Yamaha rider in the top-15.
Alex Marquez was seventh-fastest ahead of Ai Ogura and Marc Marquez, while Brad Binder rounded out the top-10.
Both factory Aprilia riders were outside the top-10, with championship leader Marco Bezzecchi 14th and Jorge Martin 15th.
