Lap times from the MotoGP qualifying session at the French Grand Prix, the fifth round of the 2026 season.
Francesco Bagnaia took his first pole position of 2026 in MotoGP qualifying at Le Mans, the Italian narrowly ahead of his teammate, Marc Marquez, who came through Q1 to qualify second.
Marco Bezzecchi completed the front row ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio, Pedro Acosta, and Fabio Quartararo on row two.
Joan Mir qualified on the front of the third row, ahead of Jorge Martin and Ai Ogura, while Alex Marquez rounded out the qualifying top-10.
Marquez was only 0.3 seconds off the time of Bagnaia and was over 0.4 seconds ahead of the rider directly behind him, Johann Zarco, who qualified 11th after topping Practice. Alex Rins was the slowest of the 12 Q2 riders.
