Results from the Sprint at the 2026 MotoGP Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello.

Raul Fernandez took the win in the Italian MotoGP Sprint, leading all 11 laps and beating Jorge Martin by 1.289 seconds.

Fabio Di Giannantonio came from seventh to third, finishing three seconds off the win.

Pole sitter Marco Bezzecchi slipped to fifth at the start, then dropped to sixth behind Di Giannantonio before the end of the first lap, but recovered to fourth, although he was over three seconds behind his teammate and primary title rival Martin.

Marc Marquez led at the first turn but was pushed aside by Fernandez and Martin before the end of the first sector and finished fifth after battling with Diogo Moreira throughout the middle of the race.

Fermin Aldeguer took sixth ahead of Francesco Bagnaia, Ai Ogura, and Pedro Acosta who took the final point in ninth.

Diogo Moreira slipped to 10th by the end after being third at the start.

Qualifying

Marco Bezzecchi secured his second pole of 2026 at Mugello, setting a new lap record and becoming the first rider to lap in the 1:43s. Raul Fernandez and Jorge Martin completed the top-three.

Marc Marquez was the leading non-Aprilia rider in fourth, 0.010 seconds behind Martin in third but over 0.3 seconds behind Bezzecchi. Fermin Aldeguer and Francesco Bagnaia made it an all-Ducati second row.

Fabio Di Giannantonio topped all three practice sessions, but was only seventh in qualifying. He'll be joined by Diogo Moreira and Franco Morbidelli on the third row. Pedro Acosta completed the top-10 after coming through Q1 and will be joined by Enea Bastianini and Alex Rins on the fourth row.
