Lap times from the Warm Up session at the 2026 MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez, round four of 2026.
Alex Marquez took victory at the Spanish MotoGP, winning almost from lights to flag ahead of Marco Bezzecchi.
Marquez was third on the first lap, but quickly passed Bezzecchi for second. On lap two, he passed Marc Marquez for the lead at turn six.
Five turns later the Ducati Lenovo team rider crashed out at turn 11, promoting Bezzecchi back to second.
Bezzecchi was going with Marquez to begin with, but he dropped back around lap 10 and the gap grew over two seconds in the end.
Jorge Martin started 10th but was third after Marquez crashed on lap two. The pace wasn't there for the podium, though, and he was beaten comfortably be Fabio Di Giannantonio to third.
Di Giannantonio was within a second of Bezzecchi for most of the race but dropped back in the final five laps or so once he realised passing would be too difficult and that he had a three-second gap to Martin to fall into.
Ai Ogura was the hard charger, coming from 11th on the grid to finish fifth at the end, passing both Johann Zarco and Raul Fernandez in the closing laps.
Fernandez took sixth behind his teammate, and Zarco finished seventh. Enea Bastianini, Fermin Aldeguer, and Pedro Acosta rounded out the top-10.
Other than Marc Marquez, Francesco Bagnaia and Aprilia test rider Lorenzo Savadori were the only retirements.
