Lap times from the Practice session at the 2026 MotoGP Thai Grand Prix at the Buriram International Circuit.
Marco Bezzecchi ended fastest overall on Friday after a MotoGP Practice session that threatened almost throughout to be hit by heavy rain, but which ultimately never was.
Only Marc Marquez joined Bezzecchi in the 1:28s, but the Spanish rider was still over 0.4 seconds behind the Italian. Fabio Di Giannantonio completed the top-three.
Pedro Acosta was fourth ahead of Jorge Martin who rounded out the top-five, albeit over 0.7 seconds behind his teammate.
Alex Marquez, Joan Mir, Brad Binder, Ai Ogura, and Johann Zarco rounded out the top-10.
Francesco Bagnaia was the major name to miss out on Q2, the factory Ducati rider 1.3 seconds off the pace of Bezzecchi and only 0.06 seconds faster than the struggling Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo.

FP1
Marco Bezzecchi picked up in Thailand where he left off at the test one week ago, finishing fastest at the end of FP1. Just over a tenth behind was Fabio Di Giannantonio, while Jorge Martin was third-fastest despite a crash at the final corner.
Ai Ogura made it three Aprilias in the top-four, finishing just ahead of Pedro Acosta on the only KTM in the top-10.
Marc Marquez was the lead factory Ducati in sixth, just ahead of his teammate Francesco Bagnaia and the second VR46 bike of Franco Morbidelli. Alex Marquez and Luca Marini rounded out the top-10, Marini's 10th place meaning only Yamaha didn't have a bike inside the top-10 at the end of MotoGP FP1.
