Aragon MotoGP, Warm-Up Results: Marc Marquez set the pace on Sunday morning

Gold & Goose

Marc Marquez continued his strong form at MotorLand Aragon as he claimed top spot in the Sunday morning Warm-Up.

Ahead of the Aragon Grand Prix, it was Marc Marquez in top spot in the morning Warm-Up session on the Ducati Lenovo GP25. The Spaniard is hopeful of a home victory this weekend after winning the Sprint Race on Saturday.

Behind Marc Marquez was his younger brother and closest challenger, Alex Marquez. The BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider ended the session 0.019 seconds behind his older brother on the Ducati GP24.

Pedro Acosta was able to match Marquez's pace on Sunday morning, but it is unknown if he will be anywhere near them in the Grand Prix. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider ended the session in fourth place, 0.087 seconds behind Marc Marquez.

Aprilia Racing and Marco Bezzecchi were inside the top five in the morning Warm-Up session. The Italian will once again start towards the back of the grid, but his pace is strong enough to fight through the field in the Grand Prix.

Enea Bastianini had his best session of the weekend as he finished in fifth place in the Warm-Up session on the Red Bull KTM Tech3 machine.

After a disastrous Sprint Race on Saturday, Francesco Bagnaia will be hoping for more on Sunday as he ended the Warm-Up session in sixth place, but he was 0.348 seconds behind Marc Marquez.

Fermin Aldeguer and the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP squad started the day in seventh place. The Spaniard took a podium in the Sprint Race and will be hopeful of a similar result in the Grand Prix.

Maverick Vinales had a promising start to the weekend but did not deliver in the Sprint Race. With another opportunity ahead of him, the Spaniard will hope that an eighth place in Warm-Up can kick-start him ahead of the Grand Prix.

The top Honda rider on Sunday morning was Johann Zarco on the LCR Honda Castrol machine. The French rider has had a difficult weekend after back-to-back podiums.

Brad Binder put all four KTM riders inside the top ten on Sunday morning as he ended the session in tenth place/
