The 2024 season was a dream year for the Marquez family as Alex and Marc finally got to share a garage. The siblings were meant to be teammates at Repsol Honda, but Marc's injury woes in 2020 ended that partnership.
Despite his sibling's incredible comeback year, Alex Marquez continued to just about crack the top ten for his second year with Gresini Racing.
The 2023 MotoGP season was a breakthrough year for Marquez as he finished ninth in the Championship with two Grand Prix podiums and two Sprint Race victories. But the 2024 season felt like a step back for Marquez, despite his higher Championship position.
