Marc Marquez left an impression with more than just the public and the media upon making his debut aboard Ducati machinery during testing with the manufacturer’s other riders offering a positive appraisal of their new stablemate.
The Spaniard’s much discussed switch from Repsol Honda after nine years in favour of a move to Ducati and the Gresini Racing squad alongside his brother Alex got officially underway during post-season testing at Valencia.
Immediately up to speed around on the Ducati GP23 he will race in MotoGP next season, Marquez spent most of the one-day test towards the summit of the timesheets, eventually going on to be classified fourth quickest at the flag.
It’s a showing that has whipped anticipation further ahead of his Ducati race debut in Qatar next year, not to mention leave his fellow Desmosedici counterparts coloured impressed.
