Jorge Martin has confirmed that he will miss the American Grand Prix and potentially the Qatar Grand Prix.
The reigning MotoGP World Champion will miss the third round of the 2025 MotoGP season.
Jorge Martin confirmed to the media during the Argentine Grand Prix Press Conference that he will not be riding at the American Grand Prix.
This comes after a difficult pre-season for Martin where he fractured both his wrists and an ankle in two separate crashes.
The Aprilia Racing rider missed the opening race of the season in Thailand and had to watch on from home. It is not clear when the Spaniard will be back on track, but he does not believe he will be at Round Four in Qatar.
It appears that the earliest we will see Martin back on his RS-GP could be at the Spanish Grand Prix in April.
"I am really struggling it is not my moment," Martin said.
"I am struggling to recover as fast as I would like, I can say that I will not be in Austin. I would like to be there, but I will not be riding in Austin, I also don't know if I can be in Qatar.
"I would also like to take part in some sort of test before I come back. I am not feeling very good, but I know Massimo [Rivola] is working on that, so we will see what is possible."
