The MotoGP riders were back out on track for a single day of testing at the Circuito Ricardo Tormo.
The 2026 MotoGP pre-season began today as riders started their Winter Testing programme at Valencia. The test ran from 09:00 - 16:30 (GMT), and we provided updates throughout the day.
This day of testing was the last chance for the MotoGP riders to establish a base ahead of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship, and it was also the start of Toprak Razgatlioglu and Diogo Moreira's MotoGP careers.

15:48 - Francesco Bagnaia has crashed at Turn Two. The Rider is reportedly OK. He is now back up and running.
15:46 - Alex Marquez is up into the top three as the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider is in third place with 1:29.457.
15:43 - After moving into the top ten he continued his form and Fabio di Giannantonio moved into the top five as he moved into fifth.
15:41 - Fabio di Giannantonio is back inside the top ten as he has jumped into ninth place and has relegated Maverick Vinales out of the top ten.
15:35 - The top five, as it stands, are: Raul Fernandez, Marco Bezzecchi, Pedro Acosta, Fermin Aldeguer, and Nicolo Bulega.
15:31 - Brad Binder is back inside the top ten as he has moved into eighth place for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing squad.
15:30 - Raul Fernandez has returned to the top of the timesheets with a 1:29.373.
15:29 - Fermin Aldeguer has just knocked Francesco Bagnaia out of the top five as he has moved into fourth place.
15:27 - The #16 of Nicolo Bulega is now in the top five as he has gone fourth place with a 1:29.661.
15:26 - Nicolo Bulega has just entered the top ten as he has gone seventh with a 1:29.862 on the factory Ducati.
15:13 - Nicolo Bulega and Toprak Razgatlioglu have moved up the order to 16th and 18th places respectively.
15:09 - Jack Miller is up into 18th place on the Prima Pramac Racing Yamaha V4, and is the third Yamaha on the timesheets.

14:40 - Alex Marquez has set his best lap of the day and is now in sixth place with a 1:29.879.
14:34 - Francesco Bagnaia has set his best lap of the day, but remained in fourth place.
14:31 - Fermin Aldeguer is now in the top five as the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider has moved into fourth place.

13:47 - Maverick Vinales has jumped up the order into third place on the Red Bull KTM Tech3.
13:46 - Marco Bezzecchi is now the fastest rider during the test on a test version of the Aprilia RS-GP.

12:49 - The lap times are falling now as Raul Fernandez is at the top of the timesheet with a 1:30.254.
12:48 - Diogo Moreira's MotoGP career has begun as the Brazilian is out on track on the Honda.
12:47 - Alex Marquez is now the fastest rider in the session as he has set a 1:30.434.
12:45 - Razgatlioglu has been improving his lap time and is now down to a 1:33.533, and is now under three seconds behind Bagnaia.
12:40 - Toprak Razgatlioglu has completed his first official laps as a MotoGP rider and is four seconds behind Bagnaia's best lap time in the early stages.
12:39 - Currently, it is Francesco Bagnaia in first, Jack Miller in second, and Nicolo Bulega in third.
12:35 - We are back! And bikes are on track! Francesco Bagnaia, Jack Miller, Marco Bezzecchi, and Nicolo Bulega have completed some lap times!
11:35 - Well, no bikes are on track yet, so admin is going to head off for lunch... hopefully, when we are back bikes will be on track!
11:25 - Before the test got underway, Alberto Puig tried to downplay the updates for Honda's 2026 RC213V...

09:01 - Despite the track now being officially open, it is unlikely that riders will rush out on track, due to rain overnight, and cool temperatures at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
