Moto2 Australia, Grand Prix Results | Senna Agius claimed victory at his home Grand Prix

Senna Agius was able to thrill Phillip Island as he dominated the Moto2 Grand Prix at his home circuit.

Across the last 11 race weekends, Senna Agius had not featured on a Moto2 podium, but he ended his podium drought with a win at his home Grand Prix, which was also his second win of the 2025 season.

Motyo2 rookie, David Alonso, was back on the podium for the third time in his rookie season as the CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team rider finished in second place and was 3.684 seconds behind Agius at the chequered flag.

Diogo Moreira continued to cut the gap down to the Moto2 World Championship leader with a third-place finish at Phillip Island. The Brazilian rider wants to move to MotoGP as the Moto2 World Champion in 2026.

Daniel Holgado missed out on a fifth Moto2 podium in his rookie season as he finished in fourth place for the CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team in the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island.

British rider Jake Dixon was back inside the top five for the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team as he rounded out the top five at Phillip Island, but he was 4.451 seconds behind Agius at the end of the Grand Prix.

Just outside of the top five in the Moto2 Grand Prix at Phillip Island was the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego rider, Barry Baltus, who finished in sixth place.

The Moto2 World Championship leader, Manuel Gonzalez, was outside of the top five and had his worst result since the Aragon Grand Prix as he finished in seventh place for the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad.

Albert Arenas has finished inside the top ten in the last three Moto2 Grands Prix, and the ITALJET Gresini Moto2 rider was able to finish in eighth place at Phillip Island.

Aron Canet's hopes of winning the 2025 Moto2 World CHampionship continue to slip away as the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego rider crossed the line in ninth place at the Australian Grand Prix.

Completing the top ten was the RW - Idrofoglia Racing rider Ayumu Sasaki, who claimed his second top ten finish of the 2025 Moto2 World Championship.
