Moto2 Australia, Qualifying Results | Diogo Moreira claimed his sixth pole position of the year

Diogo Moreira will start from pole position for the sixth time in the 2025 Moto2 season as he continues to hunt for the Moto2 title.

For the sixth time in the 2025 Moto2 World Championship, Diogo Moreira claimed pole position for the Italtrans Racing Team. The Brazilian rider secured back-to-back poles after also securing pole last time out at the Indonesian Grand Prix.

Home hero, Senna Agius, will start the Moto2 Grand Prix from the middle of the front row after qualifying in second place for the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad.

The 2025 Moto2 World Championship leader, Manuel Gonzalez, will start on the front row with his title rival as he qualified in third place for the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad.

British rider Jake Dixon will start from the head of the second row of the grid after qualifying in fourth place for the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team.

The CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team completed the second row on the grid as Daniel Holgado qualified in fifth place and his teammate, David Alonso, qualified in sixth place.

Japanese rider Ayumu Sasaki will start from the head of the third row of the grid at the Australian Grand Prix, as he qualified in seventh place on the grid.

Aron Canet is still in the fight for the 2025 Moto2 World Championship, but compared to his title rivals, he will start from eighth place on the grid in the middle of the third row.

Darryn Binder has only scored points on four occasions in the 2025 Moto2 season and will be searching for more points this weekend after qualifying in ninth place.

Rounding out the top ten on the grid was the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego rider, Barry Baltus, who will start from the fourth row of the grid.
