Filip Salac was back on top of the timesheets in the Moto2 Free Practice One session for the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team.
In the opening Moto2 session of the weekend, Filip Salac was at the top of the timesheets on the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Boscoscuro machine.
After two difficult race weekends in a row, Aron Canet was back at the sharp end in Free Practice One as he finished in second place for the Fantci Racing Lino Sonego squad.
The Moto2 rookie, David Alonso, started his weekend in a good way with a third-place finish in Free Practice One.
British rider Jake Dixon ended the session in fourth place. After time off over the summer break, the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team rider will be striving for better results than he got at Brno.
The SpeedRS Team ended the morning in fifth and seventh places with Alonso Lopez in fifth and Celestino Vietti in seventh.
The Moto2 World Championship leader, Manuel Gonzalez, separated the SpeedRS Team riders as he finished in sixth place.
Senna Agius was two places behind his teammate as he ended the session in eighth on the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP machine.
Albert Arenas was back inside the top ten with a ninth-place finish in Free Practice One on the ITALJET Gresini Moto2 machine.
Completing the top ten was the CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team rider and Moto2 rookie Daniel Holgado.
