Daniel Holgado claimed his first Moto2 Grand Prix victory after controlling the race at the Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya.
For the first time in his Moto2 career, Daniel Holgado stood on the top step of the rostrum in the intermediate class after controlling the Catalan Grand Prix.
The top Boscoscuro rider on Sunday was the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team rider, Jake Dixon, who claimed his first podium since the German Grand Prix with a second-place finish.
In his fourth Grand Prix for the Red Bull KTM Ajo squad, Daniel Muñoz was able to feature on the Moto2 podium for the first time as he finished in third.
The Moto2 World Championship leader, Manuel Gonzalez, missed out on the podium but came home in a solid fourth place.
Rounding out the top five was the BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 rider, Izan Guevara, who equalled his best result of the season.
The Beta Tools SpeedRS Team ended the race just outside of the top five with Celestino Vietti in sixth place and Alonso Lopez in seventh.
After winning his first Moto2 race last time out in Hungary, David Alonso was down the order in eighth place at the Catalan Grand Prix.
Moto2 rookie, Collin Veijer, has featured inside the top ten in the last three Grands Prix, as he finished ninth in the Catalan Grand Prix.
