Moto2 Portugal, Qualifying Results | Diogo Moreira will start a potential Championship deciding Grand Prix from pole position

The Moto2 World Championship leader, Diogo Moreira, will start from pole position at the Portuguese Grand Prix.

For the seventh time in the 2025 Moto2 World Championship, Diogo Moreira will start from pole position as he set the fastest lap late on in Qualifying at the Portuguese Grand Prix.

After taking victory last time out at the Malaysian Grand Prix, Jake Dixon will start from the middle of the second row of the grid for the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team.

Rounding out the front row of the grid is the Moto2 rookie, Collin Veijer. The Red Bull KTM Ajo rider will start from third place on the grid at Portimao.

The Fantic Racing Lineo Sonego squad will start side by side on the second row of the grid, with Barry Baltus starting from fourth place, and Aron Canet starting from fifth place.

Moto2 rookie and Moto2 Grand Prix winner, Daniel Holgado, completes the second row of the grid and will start from sixth for the CFMOTO Aspar Team.

Daniel Munoz will head the third row of the grid for the Red Bull KTM Ajo squad and will start from seventh place on the grid.

Manuel Gonzalez will have to watch his Moto2 Championship rival, Moreira, start from pole position as he will line up in eighth place on the grid.

SpeedRS Team rider, Celestino Vietti, will complete the third row on the grid as he qualified in ninth place on the Boscoscuro.

Completing the top ten on the grid is the Moto2 rookie, David Alonso, for the CFMOTO Aspar Team.
