Moto2 San Marino, Race Results | Celestino Vietti secured his first win of the season

Celestino Vietti took his first Grand Prix victory of the 2025 Moto2 World Championship with a dominant performance at home.

At his home Grand Prix, Celestino Vietti returned to winning ways as he dominated the San Marino Grand Prix for the Beta Tools SpeedRS Team and claimed his first win of the 2025 season.

After going three races without a podium, Barry Baltus returned to the Moto2 rostrum for the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego squad with a second-place finish at Misano.

Daniel Holgado has featured on three podiums across the last four Moto2 Grands Prix. The Spaniard finished in third place for the CFMoto Aspar Team at the San Marino Grand Prix.

Diogo Moreira was able to bounce back from his 14th-place finish at the Catalan Grand Prix with a fourth-place finish at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

The Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP riders crossed the line in fifth and sixth, with Senna Agius taking fifth place, and the Moto2 World Championship leader, Manuel Gonzalez, finishing in sixth place.

Aron Canet has not featured in the top five since the Dutch TT, and missed out again in the San Marino Grand Prix as he finished in seventh place and was 9.752 seconds behind Vietti.

The reigning Moto3 World Champion, David Alonso, finished in eighth place for the second Grand Prix in a row.

Completing the top ten were the BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 riders, as Tony Arbolino crossed the line in ninth place, and his teammate, Izan Guevara, finished in tenth.
