Moto3 Qatar, Race Results | Angel Piqueras secures the Championship lead after winning in Lusail

For the second time this season, Angel Piqueras is victorious in the Moto3 World Championship.

Angel Piqueras snatched victory in the Moto3 Grand Prix on the drive to the finish line on the final lap. The Spaniard ended up winning his second Grand Prix of the season by 0.009 seconds.

Taiyo Furusato was the top Honda rider in the Moto3 race as he finished in second place for Honda Team Asia. The Japanese rider was done on the line by the FRINSA - MT Helmets - MSi rider.

Ryusei Yamanaka was in the battle for victory on the final lap but ended up finishing in third place. The Japanese rider was 0.042 seconds behind his teammate, who was victorious.

Just off of the podium was Joel Kelso on the LEVELUP - MTA KTM. The Australian rider was 0.05 seconds behind the third-place rider, Yamanaka.

The Rivacold Snipers Team were able to get both of their riders inside the top ten in Qatar. It was Riccardo Rossi who crossed the line in fifth and Nicola Carraro who was just inside the top ten in ninth.

David Munoz managed to score his first points of the 2025 season. The Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP rider ended the race in sixth place.

The SIC58 Squadra Corse had a good day in Qatar as both of their riders were in the top ten. Luca Lunetta was in seventh place, and Stefano Nepa crossed the line in eighth.

Completing the top ten was the second Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP rider Guido Pini.

British riders Scott Ogden and Eddie O'Shea missed out on the top ten at the Lusail International Circuit. Ogden ended up in 12th place, with O'Shea in 18th.
