Red Bull KTM Ajo had an incredible morning at the Circuito de Jerez as they were first and second in Free Practice One.
Jose Antonio Rueda topped the opening session of the weekend at the Circuito de Jerez. The Spaniard was 0.778 seconds clear of the field in the first Free Practice session for the Moto3 field.
The Red Bull KTM Ajo squad ended the morning in first and second with their Spanish riders. Alvaro Carpe ended his first session at his home Grand Prix in second place.
The top Honda rider was Adrian Fernandez from Leopard Racing as he ended the session in third. The Spaniard was 0.924 seconds behind Rueda's best lap time in Free Practice One.
Joel Kelso has had a consistent start to the 2025 season with the LEVELUP - MTA squad. The Australian started the fifth round of the year in fourth place on the timesheets.
Ruche Moodley had an incredible morning at the Circuito de Jerez with the BOE Motorsports squad. The South African rider ended the session in fifth place.
David Almansa was the second Honda rider to end the session in the top ten as he was in sixth place when the chequered flag came out.
In seventh place was the SIC58 Squadra Corse rider, Luca Lunetta. The Italian was over 1.2 seconds behind Rueda's best lap time on his Honda.
British rider, Scott Ogden, ended the morning in eighth place for the CIP Green Power squad. The #19 continues his strong Friday form at the Spanish Grand Prix.
The Qatar Grand Prix winner, Angel Piqueras, ended the morning in ninth place for the FRINSA - MT Helmets - MSi squad.
Completing the top ten was David Munoz with the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP.
British rider, Eddie O'Shea did not end up in the top ten as he ended the first session of the weekend in 26th place.
