MotoGP Argentina, Race Results (Updated): Marc Marquez does the double in Argentina

Gold & Goose

Marc Marquez has now won four races in a row as he continues to display his dominance over the field.

Marc Marquez has extended his winning streak from two to four (two Sprint victories and two Grands Prix victories). The Spaniard carried his dominance from Thailand to Argentina and beat his brother in both races.

Alex Marquez once again led the majority of the race but had to settle for second place. The younger Marquez brother's hunt for a Grand Prix victory goes on.

Franco Morbidelli returns to a Grand Prix podium for the first time since the Spanish Grand Prix in 2021. The Italian rider put in an early challenge to the Marquez brothers but could not match their pace.

Francesco Bagnaia has set his best result at Termas de Rio Hondo after finishing fourth. The Italian's previous best result in a Grand Prix in Argentina had been a fifth place.

Fabio di Giannantonio claimed a top-five finish as he crossed the line in fifth place. The Italian rider has shown good form since returning from injury but has not shown his full potential.

Johann Zarco missed out on a podium on the Honda RC213V, but he still had an impressive weekend. The Frenchman ended the Argentine Grand Prix in sixth place after starting from the front row.

The top KTM rider in South America was Brad Binder who finished the 25-lap race in seventh. The South African held off the late efforts from Aprilia to claim a decent result for the Austrian manufacturer.

Pedro Acosta battled hard with Ai Ogura, but he had to settle for ninth place after 25 laps. However, he has since been promoted to eighth place after Ogura was disqualified.

Joan Mir was back in the top ten after battling hard with the KTM and Aprilia riders around him. The Spaniard crossed the line in tenth but has been moved into ninth.

For the first time since joining Honda, Luca Marini finished inside the top ten of a MotoGP race. There have been clear improvements at Honda that have allowed the Italian to show more speed.
