MotoGP Catalunya, Free Practice Two Results | Joan Mir led the way ahead of Qualifying

Joan Mir topped the MotoGP timesheets in the final Free Practice session of the weekend before the Qualifying sessions.

In the final MotoGP Practice session ahead of Qualifying at the Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya, it was Joan Mir and Honda HRC Castrol who topped the timesheets.

The top Ducati rider in the final Practice session was the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider, Alex Marquez, who was in second place on the Ducati GP24.

After missing out on a spot in Q2 on Friday afternoon, Fabio Quartararo was in the top five on Saturday morning as he ended up in third.

KTM have been on form this weekend at the Catalan Grand Prix. In Free Practice Two, Maverick Vinales was in fourth for Tech3, and Pedro Acosta was in fifth for the Factory Racing team.

Just outside of the top five was a run of three Ducati riders, Fermin Aldeguer was in sixth on the Ducati GP24, Fabio di Giannantonio was in seventh on the GP25, and Marc Marquez was in eighth place.

The top Aprilia rider in the opening session of the second day was the Italian rider, Marco Bezzecchi, on the factory RS-GP.

Completing the top ten was the fastest rider on Friday, Brad Binder, on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machine.
