Alex Marquez secured his second Grand Prix victory of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship as he led his brother to a Ducati 1-2.
For the first time since the Spanish Grand Prix, Alex Marquez returned to the top step of the podium as he controlled the Catalan Grand Prix from the front.
Marc Marquez's run of Grand Prix victories came to an end at the Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya. For the first time since Silverstone, the Spaniard did not stand on the top step of the podium.
Enea Bastianini has featured on a Sprint Race podium in 2025, but this weekend was able to claim his first Grand Prix podium on the RC16 as he finished in third.
Pedro Acosta gambled on a soft rear tyre, but it did not help him challenge for the podium as he ended up in fourth, and he was 13 seconds behind Alex Marquez.
Rounding out the top five was the Monster Energy Yamaha rider, Fabio Quartararo, who claimed his best result since the German Grand Prix.
Ai Ogura claimed his best result since the opening Grand Prix of the season as he finished in sixth on the Trackhouse Racing Aprilia.
After starting from 21st on the grid, Francesco Bagnaia made his way through the order and finished in seventh place.
The top Honda rider was the Honda HRC Castrol rider, Luca Marini, who crossed the line in eighth place.
Miguel Oliveira claimed his first top ten finish of the season as he finished in ninth place on the Prima Pramac Racing machine.
Completing the top ten was the reigning MotoGP World Champion, Jorge Martin.
