With a new all-time lap record at the Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya, Alex Marquez secured his first pole since 2023.
Alex Marquez will start from pole position for the first time in the 2025 MotoGP season, as he set a new all-time lap record at the Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya.
After coming through Q1, Fabio Quartararo was able to put the Monster Energy Yamaha M1 onto the front row of the grid after qualifying in second place.
Marc Marquez will start from the rear of the front row of the grid on the factory Ducati as he qualified in third place.
The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team riders qualified on the second row, with Franco Morbidelli starting from fourth place and Fabio di Giannantonio starting from sixth.
Pedro Acosta will start between the two VR46 Ducati riders after he qualified in the middle of the second row in fifth place.
The top Honda rider on the grid will be the LCR Honda Castrol rider, Johann Zarco. The Frenchman will start from the head of the third row in seventh place.
Ai Ogura was able to qualify as the top Aprilia rider and will start the Catalan Grand Prix from eighth place on the Trackhouse Racing machine.
The second KTM rider inside the top ten was the Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider, Enea Bastianini, who will start from ninth place.
Completing the top ten was the Honda HRC Castrol rider, Luca Marini.
