MotoGP Czech Republic, Free Practice One Results | Marc Marquez set the pace on Friday morning

In MotoGP's first session back at the Automotodrom Brno, it was Marc Marquez who topped Free Practice One.

Marc Marquez topped the timesheets in the opening MotoGP session of the weekend at Automotodrom Brno, as he led the way by 0.615 seconds after missing the opening laps due to a technical issue.

As usual, Jack Miller found himself at the sharp end in the mixed conditions as he ended up in second place on the Prima Pramac Racing Yamaha.

Francesco Bagnaia ended the morning inside the top three on the factory Ducati, but he was 0.653 seconds behind his teammate.

Alex Marquez was worried for the Czech Republic Grand Prix, but in the latter laps he launched himself up the timesheets into fourth place.

After missing the German Grand Prix due to appendicitis, Enea Bastianini put himself in the top five in Free Practice One on the Red Bull KTM Tech3 RC16.

Pedro Acosta ended the session in sixth place on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machine, but he was 1.073 seconds behind Marquez at the end of the morning.

The top Aprilia rider in Free Practice One was Marco Bezzecchi on the factory Aprilia, as the Italian rider ended up in seventh place.

Luca Marini was the top Honda rider as he ended up in eighth place on the factory Honda HRC Castrol machine.

Alex Rins was the second Yamaha rider inside the top ten. Rumours suggest he is fighting for his future, so this weekend will be crucial for the Spaniard.

Completing the top ten was the LCR Honda IDEMITSU replacement rider, Takaaki Nakagami.
