For the second Grand Prix in a row, Francesco Bagnaia was on the podium. After a disappointing Saturday, the Italian finished in third place for the factory Ducati team.

Fabio Quartararo was the top Yamaha rider in the German Grand Prix as he finished in fourth place for the Monster Energy Yamaha squad.

Fermin Aldeguer had been struggling throughout the weekend, but the rookie kept his cool and finished a race in which a lot of riders did not and secured a solid fifth place.

On his return to MotoGP, Luca Marini was back inside the points and inside the top ten as he finished in sixth for the Honda HRC Castrol squad.

Brad Binder had one of his better results of the 2025 MotoGP season as he finished in seventh place as the top KTM rider.

Jack Miller started the race by battling for fifth place, but as his tyres started to wear, the Australian rider dropped back through the field and finished in eighth.

Raul Fernandez was the only Aprilia rider to finish the race at the Sachsenring as he finished in ninth for Trackhouse Racing.

Despite finishing 39 seconds behind Marc Marquez, Alex Rins was able to finish in tenth place due to the crashes in front of him.
